Co-Workers Slacking
I don't know what happened to him to flip his switch - but he does less than the minimum of work, he tries to lord over the females in the office - basically he is a prick. I will bring him to his knees soon - I will!!

Lance Armstrong
I watched stage 10 last night... for the last 20-30 minutes it was amazing. The entire Dicovery Team assisting in the dimantling of the Peloton!! The Armstrong, Valverde, Rasmussen and Valverde's teammate quartet keeping that pace and just decimating the other riders. Armstrong, Valverde, Rasmussen not looking any worse for the wear was even more devasting to the other competitors!!

ok, so I'm an infrequent blogger - get off my back!!!
Being a Mom - is incredible, wonderful and challenging. I love Duncan and I would do anything to make sure he stays happy & healthy. He is such a happy boy and loves me so much. That some days I get choked up just thinking about him. I have a picture of him on my desk that everytime I look at it I smile!!
On Being a wife - I love Jamie and everything about him. We're best friends, spouses and parents. We have many similiar views and many polar views. But that does not get in our way, we respect one another to listen to each other. I just plain love and adore the man!
On Being a working Mom - I love it - it is challenging, however Duncan loves his daycare and he learns so much from his teachers and he gets to socialize w/ other kids. Our daycare, Wee Child Care Center in Columbus, OH is Great!! Very multi-ethnic, very much in tune to each child's needs and loving. I think since they are so wonderful that it makes being away from Duncan 3 days a week easier.I get time away with a great group of people, work, exercise my mind. But Duncan comes first!!
Oh, transient thought here - The last time a public figure admitted to being shot in the butt and calling it a "war" wound it was Vanilla Ice... so does John Kerry want to be Vanilla Ice? and his running mate Edwards - mmany times accused of racism, yet because he is a pretty person and quietly apologized for "joking comments" it was washed away and never made public? He's a closet racist, in my opinion. Bush - you said you would hunt down and fire the person involved in betraying our country - be a True man and do not - no fence sitting (don't be a "Kerry" - I am not a republican nor a democrat - and independant thinker.

Politically talking
Why is it when a group of people gather politics is discussed....
sometimes an event or gathering politics should be tabled ! Especially if you are not sure of the others views. Unintentionally you can offend others, whether in difference of opinion or inappropiate time to discuss.

Kobe Bryant's accuser...
I am not a fan of basketball - I consider most of the players overpaid, illiterate , whiny punks! So when Kobe Bryant was accused of rape I did not really bat an eye until I read transcripts and followed the accuser's actions. Her actions were not those of a typical rape victim - but hey everyone reacts differently. BUT when she shows up married & 7 months pregnant to "settle" w/ Bryant is way off base!!! Trust me I know, I have been a victim of rape. Dating is so far from your mind much less having sex & a baby!!!
I had a friend once wrongly accused of rape, he spent months and money clearing his name. I was one of his character witness, also I was alibi for the night in question, along w/ 5 other people. It took him years to erase all traces to the public eye. A good friend of mine who was a lawyer filed slander, libel and character defamation charges against the woman. He won! He gave the money to a local charity. She cried rape because he did not want to go out with her, he rejected her.
What I am getting at is I do not believe she was raped. I believe she consented, bragged about, was called a whore or slut by her "friends" so changed her story to "he attacked me". No I do not feel sorry for Bryant he did have sex outside his marriage - so karma bit him in the behind. Mrs. Bryant is very smart woman, standing by his side, but never commenting... I'm sure Kobe will think twice before even thinking about another tryst. and his accuser was named publicly, she has suffered, everyone says, but she has not she just took an NBA star for $$$$, she got away w/ a nearly perfect crime.

The baby has arrived
November 5th. After much worrying, our son Duncan arrived!!! I'm a mother - still stops me in my tracks!!
